@chzchopgnipgnop The unreviewed-content warning is the most annoying part about Reddit. They make you log in to view content that’s completely innocuous. I don’t know if there’s a legal reason for it or if it’s part of the “you wouldn’t have to deal with this bullshit if you had the app” strategy

@chzchopgnipgnop Peak internet was 10+ years ago. Content moderation and “download the app” ruined it. I miss when the internet was the wild west and people were free to speak their minds. The only things that need to be policed are threats, posting other users’ private info, revenge porn, etc…

@chzchopgnipgnop The most annoying thing is that they intentionally make the website versions worse so that you’ll download the apps, e.g., they disable features that used to exist on the website; they make you log in to access content that you previously didn’t have to log in to access, etc…
