Wow. I just saw an episode from The Journey featuring Steven Izzo from Michigan State and it was powerful. He is a 5th year walk on and son of coach Tom Izzo. In this clip, he scored his first official basket of his career.
Tom had this to say:
“He came over and gave me a hug and I told him I loved him. I looked around and I said my kid just made 15,000 people…happy. If I died that day, I’d been ok.”
Most Media outlets won’t share this, but after the game is over.
A moment to pray and rejoice for the opportunity to play and be thankful. 🙏🏻🏈#Godfirst#JesusIsKing#fttb#49ers
🎙️ "Soon, it'll be time to hang it up, but at this point, I'm just having too much fun."
