I’ve just returned home from attending a fatal fire that claimed 4 people, 2 were children. Do you have working smoke alarms? You must, it’s the law in Ontario. Have you checked them? Early detection maybe the only thing that saves you and your family in a fire.

I get asked how does lack of family doctors affect the ER. Are people going to ER for mild ailments that are better treated elsewhere? In my experience that’s not the problem. Real recent example. Lovely older patient lost family doc. Couldn’t get her blood thinners. Stroked.
