@theobromic_ As artist, God is like a person very attached to his OCs.
Some nice, some evil, some full of trauma, but he cares for us all the same. But the diff is in our choice. We choose our own path. Im also aware im kinda sounding very preachy so lemme apologize im not trying to do that
@theobromic_ One day the evil of this world will quite literally meet their maker and will answer for what they've done. Our cries for justice doesn't go unnoticed but he's waiting because he loves us so much that he wants all to come to repentance. Basically giving us all a fighting chance.
@theobromic_ Also, to play devil's adv, let's say there is no God. I'll leave this world with no regrets because I had hope.
Hope was and will always be a force that can't be seen but is real to any individual who internalizes it. I fight to live every day to make my life a happy one.
@theobromic_ No my suffering as a child was "for good" but God can take a mess and make it a masterpiece. (Pun intended as we are artist ourselves) I know what its like so im not saying this as someone who doesn't know. Jesus saved me and hopefully I can be the help I never got for others.
even my dad was like your mom’s father was the most generous christlike man i have ever known and yet spent his last 20 years suffering an illness worse than death and i pray that one day i will understand why god put him through that
terrible tragic things still happened to the people in my life that prayed the most so i’m like well god clearly wants some people to suffer so i’m not gonna waste time asking him otherwise
despite being raised christian i genuinely never understood why i was supposed to pray for anything if whatever happens is what god wanted to happen anyway
@theobromic_ things will come our way in hopes that it takes away our joy, peace and resolve to love the lord. Your grandfather sounds like despite the illness, he was a happy man. He suffered and fought a good fight (My deepest condolences) he's enjoying his eternity and now waiting for you
@theobromic_ it's a matter of when you're going through horrible things, would you still follow god? Do you equate your love for God with what he does or who he is? The devil doesn't want you to not believe in God, he wants you to turn on him.
