#Maths tweeps. Tesco up here has classwiz reduced from £30 to £7.50...currently 20 (correct to 1sf) on the reduced shelf in big tesco in Carlisle. Maybe similar elsewhere? @missradders @mathsjem @cumbrianmaths

@ailvox71 We spread them across a distribution: so many get 9’s,8’s etc in line with what our targets are.

@ailvox71 We use a distribution for our 8s and 9s before they go on to KS4. Just started mastery with 7s so can’t tell you what we’re doing yet but they all have expected grades that are 1-9. No full papers for EOY tests, just 2 1 hour papers!

@EmporiumMaths Maybe a functionality to put groups together rather than individually adding to groups - perhaps through uploading groups on a spreadsheet through SIMS? This might be possible but nobody has shown me how to do it! 😔😔

Just listened to someone go on about how teachers complain the most out of all professions & have it easy with 13 weeks off a year and marking and planning lessons is “bullshit” and they know teachers that don’t do it. I’d love to know who they are.

@missradders @ThainMike @mathsjem I think we’re going to set them (3 classes) but higher could be from 9-6, crossover 6-4, foundation 1 up... so we could structure it a bit more I guess. I like the idea though Hannah!

@missradders @ThainMike @mathsjem They’ve pulled IT away for next year so give us an extra hour but not for all. It’ll be a mix of kids that are on track or not
