Yesterday was my second missed post in 1,126 days. Rough week, needed a break from everything. Felling much refreshed so was worth it.
Anyway, some of the prettiest butterflies aren't. This is a speckled yellow moth (Pseudopanthera macularia).

Went for one of my currently rare walks in the woods today before the thunderstorm hit. Found this on a path through the trees and hope it means there's one more (I think) dunnock about to be flitting around in the canopy.
