So I've been binge viewing Touhou cosplay photos since the war in Ukraine
And I keep coming across this cosplayer, no matter the website or time period
Turns out not only is she a Touhou primary, but she has also been doing this since 2008
Kudos to her for such insane dedication

So I, as with our generation, turned to nostalgic artefacts as we seek comfort
Vintage computers functioned as the closest equivalent to a time machine
It felt like noclipping out of your childhood home, into a bygone world
The more I saw her photos, the more I saw my past self

Back in my school years we were promised a globalised world with a bright future
Where conflicts would be settled through communication and dialogue
Where governments, international organisations and MNEs would cooperate to solve global issues
Turns out it was all a big fat lie
