@AmiriKing You realise it was night, yeah? Explain to us your first-hand knowledge of aviating in congested Metropolitan controlled airspace. At night. Wearing NVGs. And reading instruments. And talking to ATC. And factoring in cockpit blindspot pillars. Go.
@AmericaPapaBear No, that's not being 'reported'. It's being rumoured. And it's bullshit, as you know. There are ATC recordings of the helicopter pilot talking right up until 10 seconds before the collision. And the lights were also functioning. Stop being a stupid cunt.
@nic_moneypenny Wow. You people. The helicopter was on a recognized helicopter route. The pilot was in contact with ATC multiple times. He didn't appear to have followed instructions to maintain space between the landing plane. It was not a drone. It was human error or intentional.
@creatorsbycass Saying "blackout mode - no lights" and even posting a video clearly showing all required lights were turned on is next level amusing ๐คฃ
@DopeDeity@istartedi Military aircraft frequently transit civilian airports. There's a military base literally at the end of the runway at Washington; the crash happened almost above the base on a recognized helicopter route. The thick blue 'route' lines in the image are helicopter routes.
@DopeDeity Military base at the end of a busy civilian airport runway? What could possibly go wrong. Add to the fact military aircraft aren't required to have collision avoidance systems (TCAS) it was probably just a matter of time.
@Psychisb@goodfoodgal@sallymcmanus Dunno. But in other news, if someone asked me what a pedo looks like, I'd describe you. I'd describe the look you're going for as textbook online nonce.
