Why am I posting these ? Because the biggest PBMs don’t want any level of transparency. None. With a lack of transparency they can charge you or your employer any amount and no one knows if it’s valid within their contract or if it’s a fair price.
They are terrified of transparency. See below.
Fixing this doesn’t require legislation.
If every federal, state, NGO would publish their insurance company and PBM contract, it would become a fair and efficient market and the price of care and meds would DROP LIKE A ROCK
So proud of this one right here. She finished off middle school band like a boss! Finished this year with a superior in every competition and of audition AND 8th grade band directors award!

PBMs charged Medicaid (taxpayers) $147 for a heartburn med. PBM only paid the pharmacy $17 & pocketed $130 for themselves as payment processors. Imagine buying milk & paying the credit card co $130 for processing. Only corruption would allow this to continue.

@pcmanet LIES!! They save no money! All they do is take money! How much money have they saved the average patient? How much have the PBMs bottom line increased on the back of the sick of this country? #abolishPBMs
@pcmanet Ask them how they like mail order, or maybe how they like their locally owned pharmacy going out of business b/c the PBMs pay so little, then come back and steal money back. Bet it won’t be 90%. #pbmsareevil#pbmssuck#independentpharmacy
@pcmanet@SenFinance@SenateFinance PBMs are the ones who need to be held accountable. The only thing they add to healthcare is COST. They pay pharmacies PENNIES, then come back and steal more in the name of DIR fees. Let’s not forget their other scheme -spread pricing. PBMs MUST BE STOPPED!
I didn’t think I would ever say this, but Roseanne actually has a point. What is sorely missing in this country is the ability to agree to disagree. Just because someone else has a different viewpoint does not make them evil.
