Leduc walking out of the open forum at last night’s Council meeting, then instructing police to get ‘these people out of here…’
It’s a public forum, Council and the Mayor are elected officials, and BWG library workers have been on strike for 62 days! We have a right to speak.
This past Thursday CUPE 1628 had Joanna Johnson as our guest speaker at our annual CUPE 1628 STPDL dinner - if you have never heard her speak - you are missing out:) #unlearn16
This gentleman came out from his Long Term Care Home in support of #CUPEStrong. I'm certain he knows exactly what's at stake and who the problem is!

Could someone please share with us why Private School Students are eligible for public funds?
This is completely privatization folks. And now he crows because people are taking the “free money”!
If they won’t come to our table, we will go to theirs!

CUPE 1628 members have welcomed students back to school despite having 71 jobs unfilled in the system last week. Our members are doing the best they can while being overloaded and understaffed. Despite what @Sflecce and @PeelSchools says we are not back to normal. #osbcu
