They "voted with their wallets" and streamers like Ruri continued to take the sponsorships. Only now do people get outraged and it's too little too late.

I think the 85% quote is misleading and doesn't represent the gaming market accurately, much like your statements on Mortal Shell and RE9 physical. The conversation is a lot more nuanced.

@Rurikhan @HlNOMARUSUMO @DoesItPlay1 It shows there was more demand than they predicted for that version. The collectors editions often sell out as they're for a niche customer base. Using that to argue for physical medial as a whole isn't logically sound and people rightly pointed that out.

@Rurikhan I also think the longevity of the discs is a valid point. Especially when you take into account the second hand market and that not everyone has a cool, dry place to store them. Damp in old properties is real here in the UK and im sure many other places too.

@Rurikhan I'm not arguing in favour of digital only. I just think that both sides have become toxic and don't discuss things in good faith. I would much rather there be a physical market but in reality I don't see that happening. I moved to digital only years ago so I can't really complain
