Feels unbelievable to get to finally be able to talk about this but for the past couple of months me and Leo Horton have been working closely Olivia Rodrigo for the design and identity for her newly announced music festival Daisy Chain Fields. Ahhhhhhh
I made these in my office at 3am. All the type is scanned in, the reason why you can see all the tiny pastel specks around the text is because we decided to leave all the marks from when we scanned in the oil pastel flowers we drew
fui atrás das ongs que o festival irá ajudar e elas vão desde organizações de apoios a mães negras, coleta de fundos para educação de meninas filipinas até proteção de leis que asseguram os direitos de mulheres trans. que projeto lindo olivia rodrigo te amo
"Drag Race PH" superstar and recording artist Marina Summers took to social media to address an issue she finds “awkward,” “annoying,” and irritating: the rampant and often intrusive “shipping” of drag queens by fans.
In a candid TikTok Live that has since been clipped and circulated online, Summers expressed her growing discomfort with fans who aggressively push romantic narratives between her and other queens.
The international drag sensation called out the behavior as unhealthy and a misdirection of fan support. "It's becoming awkward, it's becoming annoying, and it's becoming irritating sometimes," Summers stated plainly in the video.
She challenged fans to examine the real reasons behind their support, emphasizing that true appreciation should stem from the art—not fabricated romantic storylines. "If you feel like you are offended, then maybe you are supporting me not because of my drag, not because of my talent, not because of the work that I do, but maybe because of your own fantasies lang," Summers declared.
While she made no specific mention, fans well-versed in the drag community have previously shipped Summers with "Drag Race PH" Season 1 queen Minty Fresh, dubbing the pairing “Mintyrina”—a portmanteau of their names.
Similar concerns also arose involving "Drag Race PH" Season 3 winner Maxie Andreison and fellow drag performer Khianna, following heated exchanges posted on X (formerly Twitter) in early June.
Summers firmly concluded her message, stating, "And that's not healthy. You cannot support me or a colleague of mine just because of your fantasy. It doesn't work that way. Tama? Tama, mali?"
