This week we are celebrating World Bee Day in ELC learning about the importance of bees, how important it is to look after them and their role in pollination. We have read stories, discussed plants and flowers bees are attracted to and enjoyed Bee themed crafts 🐝 #NewtyleELC

Bookbug visited the children this week @NewtyleSchool ELC to celebrate #BookbugWeek Mrs Law our Bookbug leader read a variety of stories and sang songs. The children were intrigued by contents of the bag and were very engaged. Thank you Mrs Law! @scottishbktrust @alove4learning2

As part of #childrensmentalhealthweek the children further explored emotions and the feeling angry. We shared ideas about what we can do to feel calm again. We also enjoyed dancing to the beat outdoors to feel good (Fresh air ✅ Exercise ✅) #NewtyleELC
