Recovery from Long COVID isn’t one big moment.
It’s hundreds of tiny impossible things becoming possible again.
The science is coming. The hope is real.
I can’t stop crying about the loss of James Strazza. James was was a rare sensitive soul who felt this world deeply. He felt it and then, with rare talent, created poems and words and music that communicated profound meaning about what it is to be human. Humanity needed James.
@TheeJeffC Hello, I’m about 75% recovered. I get the brain inflammation sometimes, it comes and goes. Can’t push through that so I usually sleep it off. Would say I’m very mild.
@elysekiera Hi just seeing this. I’m sorry you felt this way, truly. I really was severe, very severe the first 6 months. I literally had brain inflammation every day upon waking up. The brain on fire feeling. Abilify really helps with that. I’m not fully recovered, I’d say 75%
When I got better some people blocked and unfollowed me on instagram. I wouldn’t do that to anyone who improved, even if I was severe, I’d be happy for them. :/
Hi just a quick update. I’ve stopped taking half of my medications and I’m still very mild. Very mild is still sick, but, I can live about 75% normally. Please don’t ask what medications, I don’t want my experience to harm someone else’s. Just know, it’s possible to live again.
@rhirhiarhii@Davemconte Hi, really don’t want to be involved in all the drama but since I really appreciate your support I want to respond. This hypothesis links spike persistence to long COVID, accelerated aging, and suggests HIV-inspired therapies for chronic effects. 1/2
