hinduism (vedanta): You created the simulation and living in it now in this mortal form as a subagent. Self is all there is. self is a temporary form that Self has taken up.

both talk about dharma = code of simulation. both use karma (action) as tool to align with dharma towards realizing respective liberating truth.
