🍯🐝 Buzzing into sweetness! We’re learning all about bees this week, and what better way to celebrate our favorite pollinators than with a scoop (or three) of homemade Honeycomb Ice Cream! 🐝🍦
This golden treat is creamy, dreamy, and packed with that signature honey crunch. Little hands can help stir, scoop, and sneak a few bites along the way 😋

Here’s how to make your own Honeycomb Ice Cream:

🍦 Honeycomb Ice Cream Recipe
No churn, no sting—just sweet, simple fun!

For the honeycomb toffee:
• 1 cup sugar
• 1/4 cup honey
• 1/4 cup water
• 2 tsp baking soda (sifted)

➡️ In a deep saucepan, heat sugar, honey, and water over medium heat without stirring. Swirl gently until golden (around 300°F). Remove from heat, quickly whisk in baking soda (it’ll foam up fast—kids love this part!). Pour onto parchment and let cool completely. Break into chunks.

For the ice cream:
• 2 cups heavy cream
• 1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk
• 1 tsp vanilla
• 1/3 cup crushed honeycomb toffee (plus more for topping)

➡️ Whip heavy cream until soft peaks form. In a separate bowl, mix condensed milk and vanilla. Fold whipped cream into the milk mixture. Gently stir in crushed honeycomb. Pour into a loaf pan, sprinkle extra toffee on top, cover, and freeze for at least 6 hours.

Build a 3D honeycomb model using toilet paper rolls to explore the life cycle of a bee and what’s really going on inside the hive!

Here’s how to make it:
1. ✂️ Cut toilet paper rolls into 1” rings
2. 🐝 Glue them into a honeycomb pattern
3. 🎨 Paint or color each cell to show:
• Eggs
• Larvae
• Pupae
• Adult bees
• Pollen
4. 🔍 Label each stage for extra science fun!
