BOTH ACCOUNTS of the @ASBMilitary/@ASB_Breaking crew have now been suspended in what editors describe as a “targeted” takedown of the independent outlet.
Now you don’t even need to work for media—just sympathizing with the Russian people is enough.
Welcome to the new Red Scare.
. @Twitter please reconsider your decision on banning this account. https://t.co/sg8bzJSalF They’ve reported war from around the world in a fair and balanced way by fact checking everything they post! Blocking them is censorship!
@apmassaro3 Hey @apmassaro3 look up Artsakh invasion by Turkey and Azerbaijan. It happened in 2020 and the west stayed silent as thousands of young Armenians were killed defending their land. To this day, over 500 POWs are still in custody in Baku.
Somehow this gross mismanagement from Uber becomes the restaurant’s fault and tarnishes their reputation.
Simply unacceptable.
Want to help a restaurant? Order off of their website (most offer delivery at a much better rate) or just go pick it up. #LifeHack
. @UberEats pays their drivers 💩
To be more precise; they pay between $3-3.50/ delivery.
Now in a snowstorm, you’d expect an incentive to go out there and deliver. Since nothing was offered, drivers in and around Montreal protested by simply not showing up. (1/4)
A delivery takes 10-12 minutes to complete, so if you complete 1 order per trip, that’s 15$ an hour while using your car and the gas you paid; making it less than minimum wage expenses considered. Most drivers do 2-3 orders per trip. (4/)
Let me dive into @UberEats economics. Clients pay a premium. Usually delivery + service fee of $3-4 and about 10%-15% more than in-store. That’s because the restaurant gets charged 25-30% of the order total. So the restaurant loses 10-15% and the client loses too. (3/4)
This resulted in orders being prepared and left on the counter waiting for a courier.
Average wait time to get a driver to your store 1 and a half hours!
I spoke to all my neighbours and they confirmed the same. 😔 (2/4) #SnowStorm2022#UberEats
