@CenterPoint where is the restoration update you promised us before noon today? You did a press release and a tweet with that time and you said it on the news. Why are continuing to make promises and not deliver?
@KPRC2 Did they tell you when their promised noon update would actually be coming since, you know, they’ve missed it. Missing the very first one doesn’t bode well. But another broken promise from @CenterPoint isn’t really a surprise.
@WhatsDaButtons@CenterPoint If those numbers are even accurate. I suspect they are phony, especially since they changed the layout and information provided on that page 36 hours in. They had to meet that 1 million restored number, even if it took cooking the books.
After working on the Texas #LIHEAP program, I already knew that the @PUCTX didn’t really care about consumers but man in today’s public meeting they went so easy on @CenterPoint you’d think they work for the utility companies rather than regulate them.
ISO: Massive, semi truck-sized emergency generators owned by @Centerpoint and paid for by customers. They are supposed to be supporting communities without power right now. Help us find them! A 🧵 1/7 #TxLege#TxEnergy
@CenterPoint congratulating themselves for allegedly restoring power to 1 million people since #HurricaneBeryl but yesterday at 8PM, 1.4 million were without power and today at 5PM 1.2 million still have no power. 200k in a whole day? Y’all should be ashamed. @KHOU@DanPatrick
@oranicuhh Can’t find the right tweet to say this on but this one feels appropriate: thanks for talking about your mental health on Ladies First. I loved the doc so much and learned so much. When you said you were a woman living with bipolar 2 and adhd, I burst into tears.
@benxo I hate Twitter so much but this story just charmed the heck out of me and reminded me that at one time the internet was a bit of a pure place where nerds and lovers of the obscure could connect for the pure joy of sharing (sometimes incredibly) niche common interests. ❤️
...the pale violations of your own TOS. You don't even shadow ban IP addresses to attempt to prevent users from circumventing bans and blocks by creating new accounts. #TwitchDoBetter because you couldn't possibly be doing worse.
@Twitch everyone is calling you out and rightly so. to call your response to harassment and abuse of any and every kind on the platform is an insult to the word response. Not only do you not have simple, basic tools in place that could go a long way to prevent hate raids...1/?
...AND significant media coverage, but you didn't ban these accounts. All of your "concern" about harassment to this point is meaningless when you won't provide adequate tools for us to protect ourselves, and you won't respond to well documented, beyond... 7/?
