No plastic packaging in sight! 🍎 🥔 Shopping in the sixties meant everything was fresh, local, and loose. You’d walk into the greengrocer, smell the fresh earth on the potatoes, and chat with the shopkeeper while he tipped your veggies straight into a brown paper bag. No barcodes, no self-checkouts—just proper, honest service.
And you always got a free piece of fruit if you were a polite child helping your mum with the bags!
Do you miss the way the high street shops used to be? Let's share some love for the old greengrocers! 👇
@footballfinery@BloomsburySport My son had a brilliant time collecting these; we still have the albums stored away in our loft!
What a great gift this would make. 🎅🏻
