They always scream “it’s for the children”, but look at what they’ve actually done to them.
Now the same leftists are using that lie to push new surveillance and control systems on American social media and they just took a major step forward this week.
The House just passed a bipartisan deal on the Kids Online Safety Act package.
It requires pornography and sexually explicit sites to use “technology verification measures” to block minors, and explicitly says a user simply claiming to be an adult is not enough.
For social media platforms, the bill creates strong practical pressure to determine every user’s age so they can apply different safeguards and defaults to minors.
Critics warn this will push platforms to adopt the same ID uploads, face scans, and third party verification systems already used in Europe.
Once those systems exist, expanding them is trivial.
But remember the left’s real record on children
>they abort them by the hundreds of thousands and call it healthcare
>they traffick them through open borders they refuse to close
>they chemically castrate and mutilate confused minors and call it “gender-affirming care”
>they run schools that push radical gender ideology and historical lies over reading and math
>they turn universities into indoctrination camps and use DEI to teach kids to hate their own heritage
This is a movement that uses children as tools for power, while the “for the children” argument is the trojan horse.
They’ve already used it to reach into your home, your doctor’s office, and your classroom.
Now they’re coming for your screen.
The new House package gives platforms powerful incentives to build age determination and content control systems under the banner of child safety.
Those same systems can, and likely will be used to restrict speech that challenges their agenda on gender, borders, schools, or anything else they label “harmful.”
Reject the pretext and defend the First Amendment.
Because the children they claim to protect are the ones they’ve spent years sacrificing.
Your grandparents didn't need a gym membership because they had land to work. They didn't need therapy because they had purpose every morning. They didn't need delivery apps because they grew their own food. We called it the old way. Maybe it was just the right way.
