It has been my honor and privilege to have represented the people of Dublin Mid West in Dáil Éireann. Unfortunately in this election #GE2020 I was unsuccessful and was not returned to the Dáil.
There's 160 TDs elected to Dáil Éireann @OireachtasNews, that's going to increase by between 11 & 21 additional TDs for the next General Election due to our growing population.
Have your say on how we shape Ireland's electoral constituencies by May 10.

Well done @PaulMcauliffe, @JohnLahart and @JamesBrowneTD for seeing this welcome measure over the line (and @curranjohna in the last Dáil) - extra powers for Gardaí to confiscate scramblers where they're used for anti-social behaviour. @fiannafailparty policy delivered!
@roundtowers Senior hurlers off to a winning start in championship this evening. Fantastic away performance from the group. Huge thanks to @curranjohna for the new jerseys, always supporting the club
"We have a state that we've built here and bad and all as the damn thing is. We can't have people in cabinet, and in Government who are not up front about these matters."

In particular I would like to thank my Director of Elections John Ryan for all his work over many years. Finally I would like to thank Audrey and Nicola without whom I could not have managed to run my constituency office in #Clondalkin
I would sincerely like to thank all those who voted for me, those who encouraged and supported me and I would especially like to thank family, friends and all who worked on this campaign.
“Today’s race wasn’t in our favour” - John Curran (FF) loses his seat on the 9th and final count in #DublinMidWest, after serving from 2002-‘11 and 2016 until now as a TD. #GE2020@curranjohna
Early tallies in Dublin Mid-West suggest that Sinn Féin's Eoin Ó Broin will retain his seat in the 33rd Dáil. Mark Ward (SF) follows him with Vicki Casserly (FG), John Curran (FF) and Paul Gogarty in the chasing pack.
