A European court just admitted gait recognition as evidence in a murder trial, meaning someone may now be convicted based on how they walk.

With facial recognition ruled out due to grainy footage, police used movement data. A company called Cursor Insight built a gait profile from 31 metrics; 30 matched one suspect.

They claim it's more accurate than face or fingerprint ID, even working with masks or helmets.

This sets a precedent: surveillance no longer needs your face. Just the way you move...
