@joanne_jjones @NiaLong Compare the numbers not the experiences. Just as many Europeans as Africans enslaved but there were more Indians enslaved than anything and most were reclassified as negro and colored. Identities were hidden and then stolen. So they could steal our land.

There were just as many Europeans as Africans but the American Indian was the majority enslaved and most of us were reclassified as black and colored and our tribal identities hidden and stolen. There's Congressional records on it

@NiaLong Because 388,000 Africans doesn't equate to 47 million blacks today, unless you throw in millions of Reclassified American Indians also. 2.5 million were enslaved during the same timeline of 1492-1866. Even shipped to Africa in 1493. Why doesn't anyone know about that?

@NiaLong The majority of us were reclassified American Indians. The words NEGRO and COLORED meant African or Indian during the 1500s in Brazil and in 1682 in Virginia. What ethnicity was everyone during Jim Crow? White and Colored. There was no in-between. Negro is an Umbrella term.
