Like not only are they NOT friends in their eyes, don’t spend any time near each other outside the rinks/press conferences but are literal rivals of nearly a decade!

So for Shane to just waltz on in with his almost decade long rival and say ‘Hey so, I’m in love with him actually and I have a 10-20 year plan set out for us to be together once we are done with hockey because that’s how serious this man is to me’ like props to them for taking it so well honestly and I would be with Yuna in needing something stronger to drink to make sense of it all 🤯
