Today at 1:36pm, RFD was dispatched and responded to a potential Haz Mat incident at the intersection of Lodge Hall Rd and Pruitt Rd. Multiple units responded and arrived to find an oil well on fire. The fire was quickly extinguished, and no injuries were reported.

⚠️ Confidence continues to increase in a severe weather event impacting the WABBLES community Sunday evening thru the predawn hours of Monday morning.

Storms are expected to fire to our west Sunday afternoon, steadily congealing into a bowing line (aka a QLCS) as they blast east through the area. All severe weather hazards will be on the table with this event.

The SPC probabilities of severe weather hazards occurring within 25 miles of you are as follows:

Damaging Wind: 30-44%
Large Hail: 30-44%
Tornado: 10-14%

Please have your safety plan in place ahead of time. It would be great to exercise it today, should any warnings be issued. Have multiple ways of keeping you informed. The timing of this event is not ideal, as many will likely be tucked away in bed.
