I need to say I stand with Dame Maureen Lipman, who is a victim of some sort of twisted anti-Semitism from a pair of no-hoper "actors." She is a Jewish actress, highly respected and regarded in the UK. Has Britain turned into 1933 Germany??? It has brought me literally to tears.

@JamesLucasIT Rather than their mothers, I tend to think of them more as Queen Victoria's grandsons. George V was a coward in more ways than one, but this is probably his most egregious. Nicky, of course, was incredibly weak and so much of what befell the Romanovs was down to that weakness.

@SeeHowItShiness Oh gosh, I'm so sorry. Saying goodbye to the friend you've had since childhood is so very hard. Years (way too many) ago, I said goodbye to the dog who grew up with me from the time I was 4 until I was 19. His name was Angus and he was the best boy ever. Thinking of you!!
