@Rolimons if you are/were a 2D clothing creator, or just don't support this decision by roblox, there is an active petition going on! any amount of support helps to try to send the message to roblox to try to prevent this from rolling out ♡

not every creator has the resources or skill set to pivot into 3d creations, game development, animating, etc.
a lot of 2d artists also may not even own a pc and design solely on tablets or on mobile, as it's a lot less resource-intensive. 2d clothing was always the entry level for newer creators as well.
i built my entire group off of 2d clothing, hired countless 2d creators, and didn't get into ugc until ~2 years ago. seeing the way they're trying to phase out creators who prioritize 2d uploads in favor of 3d and layered clothing to push the "metaverse" mentality is really sad and disappointing to see. :/
Roblox is unifying 2D and 3D avatar item publishing. 😬
Creators of 2D clothing will now have to pay a publishing advance of 600 Robux & 200 Robux, and the 2D rate has been drastically cut in half to 30% instead of 70%.
This is a drastic change for 2d clothing creators.
@Not_K4iYoutube @s2ouls idk why ppl keep saying this when such a small portion of roblox are “ageplayers” and “gooners” tht actually buy this stuff.. normal people are the majority to buy this. commenting these things on her posts are tired atp and just take away from her amazing work.
Roblox is permanently replacing static faces with animated dynamic heads, and if creators don’t update by the deadline, our work will be deleted
static dynamic head are NOT unfinished, theyre a deliberate style choice and MANY face styles simply dont look good animated. Forcing animation will severely limit avatar expression.
this update will destroy mine and many others main source of income, taking away entire art styles.
this platform has absolutely zero respect for creators who spent years building their art and communities.
Please reconsider this update @Roblox
