@danjlevy@CBC@PopTV Thank you for making 2020 a far better year for me than it could have been otherwise. I got to watch every last ounce of Schitt's Creek this year. You pointed me back a little bit to Northern Exposure which I chose to rewatch after Schitt's Creek. You are a true inspiration!
They’re gonna rename a bridge after John Lewis and pat themselves on the back while police are still beating folks in the streets and we don’t have a voting rights act.
In case you missed it...
The federal government executed 3 people this week.
Prior to this week, there have only been 3 executions in the past 50 years.
Let that sink in... the federal government killed more people in a week than they’ve killed in half a century.
I love that Houston renamed the Wall of Shame to The Covid-19 Wall of Accountability! Shaming those who refuse to respect our community means nothing. We need accountability. Name calling and put downs are easy + make us feel good. Accountability is hard but brings real change.

"I felt threatened" and "he resisted" and "she did not comply" and "he matched the description" and "I was afraid for my life" are modern-day code words that give white supremacy a secure, reliable foothold in this generation, free of all accountability and justice.
@BreneBrown @parksandrecnbc @smrtgrls I was watching the #Fierceevent webcast in one room and my family was watching Parks and Rec in the other and you were featured on both... so proud.
