What would the fair approach be?
Should the editor be compensated fully?

We are trying to view this from both perspectives; The client's who has to pay the editor for the job that the client is doing, and yet also from the editor's who spent time and effort on the video.

You have a client with a new niche. It's the first job, and you made many mistakes. The client goes through it and has to make many revisions.

50mins raw footage was cut into 33mins. After the client wen't through it. Another third of the video was cut.
