I’ve had 1 full time and 1-2 side gigs 90% of the time since 2017. Part of that is to allow my wife to stay home with the kids. Part of that is background check related. The good news is that I’m getting closer to not being on this list.
My nephew’s daughter has faced significant health challenges so far in her 13 month life and I’m asking for prayers, donations, and that somehow @pulte can share this with his network. Thank you!

I think I have enough tech people on the timeline to have this suggestion. If there any way to find an old M1 Pro 14” MacBook Pro that tech company or individual is no longer using?
Especially considering I’ll be welcoming my third child within the next few weeks. I learned a ton these past 3 years which I am extremely thankful for. I don’t have it in me to talk trash on a job that helped me sustain my family for the past few years no matter how hard it was.
Completed my first week back at my non tech job this week. The biggest difference is and will be that when work is over, there’s no taking it home especially mentally. I still have side projects that I’m working on which will be revealed soon but the mental load was too much
Currently attempting to extract text that’s not on a PDF but has been passed along in hidden fields with Make. I wish I could just code this part at this point
After much consideration, I’ve decided that this honestly got too much in the way of my family time and other obligations. I wouldn’t mind building some sort of service that brings $ but right now, this is a tough but necessary decision to make.
I have 3? More weeks left of officially working in tech then I’m going back to my old warehouse job. Instead of being in the warehouse, I’ll be in the office. This is not at all a failure post though. I am not sad or anything like that.
Money id important but money isn’t everything. Over these past few years i had made many promises to do stuff with my family after work only to be stuck on a work bug after hours. I am fortunate to have learned what I’ve learned to this point which is a lot.
