@listelia Before you hit apply, run your resume against the job description with @cvarchitectapp . It can help you make sure the relevant experience isn’t buried.
BEFORE
Worked with customers to solve problems.”
AFTER
“Resolved 90+ customer issues weekly while maintaining a 96% satisfaction rating.”
Same experience.
Better evidence.
Don’t write:
“Responsible for managing a team.”
Write:
“Led a 12-person team that reduced project delivery time by 28%.”
Responsibilities tell employers what you did.
Results tell them why it mattered.
Weak: Managed social media accounts.
Better: Managed 5 social channels, increasing engagement by 43% in 6 months.
Same person.
Same experience.
Completely different signal.
Your resume is your first impression.
It shows employers who you are and what you can do. Tailor it for each job and keep it concise. Bullet points help with readability. A strong resume opens doors. Put in the effort now for your future self.
@Simon_Ingari When someone doesn’t negotiate, it’s rarely confidence.
It’s fear of losing the offer.
The problem isn’t just salary.
It’s how people are positioned before the conversation.
If you don’t know your value,
you accept what you’re given.
@Simon_Ingari Gaps don’t mean lack of talent.
They mean lack of context.
Good recruiters filter.
Great recruiters interpret.
Potential isn’t always obvious on paper.
That’s why positioning matters.
@Simon_Ingari We say “work-life balance matters”
Until someone actually asks for it.
Responsibility isn’t lack of commitment.
It’s reality.
The best employees don’t just have careers.
They have lives.
@Simon_Ingari Loyalty without leverage is just underpricing yourself.
They didn’t “find” budget.
They reacted to losing you.
If your value is only recognized when you leave,
you stayed too long.
@Simon_Ingari Power move… but risky.
Better response:
“I’m happy to proceed without AI, but I’m not comfortable sharing my screen. I’m confident I can answer independently.”
Sets a boundary without sounding defensive.
