We have many stupid laws in this country but one of the stupidest laws is the one that heavily regulates sound reduction devices for firearms, also know as suppressors.
These helpful hearing protection devices aren’t regulated at all in countries like New Zealand & South Africa.
The cover photo shoot for “Coconut Telegraph” took place in Point Clear, Alabama, in 1980.
Jimmy had named the album, arranged for the back cover and record sleeve art, and asked me
to locate a pay phone near open water. Water was easy along Mobile Bay; but a pay
phone—not so much. Then I learned that Tommy Milham, in nearby Fairhope, made custom
wooden booths. When I gave him a call to explain what I needed, he told me that he had quit
making them, and had only one that he “might” rent to me for a day. Might? Did it have
sentimental value?
A major fan, Mr. Milham had been first in line to buy tickets for Elvis Presley’s last concert in
Mobile, in 1977. The local newspaper ran a story on him and, at the concert two weeks later,
Milham, in his front-row seat, held up the article’s headline. Impressed, Elvis offered him a
scarf. But Tommy pointed at the huge gold and diamond ring that Elvis had worn during over a
hundred concerts. To everyone’s surprise, Elvis gave him the ring. That got Mr. Milham a story
in the New York Times!
To thank Elvis for his generosity, Tommy crafted one last custom phone booth and ordered its
glass etched with the ring’s Russian czar’s crest design. Sadly, Elvis died before Mr. Milham
could deliver the gift. Two years later Jimmy Buffett got to use the Elvis Booth long enough to
stand for an excellent album’s cover photo.

I’m worried that Elon Musk (net worth $400 billion) will steal my social security number from the treasury so that he can apply for a credit card under my name (credit score 587) and use the credit card to fund Tesla (market cap $1.2T) using my personal credit (credit limit $600)
I told you this was coming, @sarahadams told you this was coming, @RooftopLeader told you this was coming, @realLegendAfg told you this was coming, @AhmadMassoud told you this was coming. Congress funded it (you heard this on my show), we warned them, we warned you. Nobody did a damn thing. Now we will continue to see the reality and the consequences of what open borders, and funding terrorism does. Remember, terrorists organizations that Bin Laden’s son leads are saying 50-60 Thousand Americans will die, and we are funding it.
The Mayor of New Orleans calls the New Year’s Day incident a terrorist attack after a pickup truck plowed into a crowd followed by gunfire leaving 12 dead with Improvised explosive device being discovered
“We have to get this thing passed so we can get home for Christmas” isn’t going to cut it anymore. The American people spoke in November, that CR isn’t it.
The Lord is moving, accountability is here, and change is coming.
