दोस्तों, आज कल ट्रेनों में पैंट्री कार वालों ने यात्रियों को लूटने का एक नया और बेहद चालाकी भरा तरीका निकाल लिया है। पहले समझिए कि यह पूरा खेल क्या है—

IRCTC के नियम के मुताबिक साधारण चाय (Ready Tea) या टी-बैग वाली चाय की आधिकारिक दर आज भी **₹10** ही है। लेकिन पैंट्री वालों ने ₹10 वाली साधारण चाय को मेन्यू से गायब ही कर दिया है। अब ये नया धंधा लेकर आए हैं—'प्रीमिक्स चाय और कॉफी'। चाय ₹20 और कॉफी ₹25 वसूल रहे हैं।

पिछले दिनों मैं 22308 बीकानेर हावड़ा एक्सप्रेस में सफर कर रहा था। सुबह-सुबह "चाय-चाय" की आवाज सुन आँख खुली। मैंने कहा—"एक चाय दो।"

वेंडर ने पूछा—"कौन सी? मसाला या इलायची?"

मैंने मसाला कह दिया।

उसने चाय दी और ₹20 लेकर चलता बना।

अगली बार वह फिर आया,

तो मैंने पूछ ही लिया—"भाई क्या बात है, जितने भी चाय वाले घूम रहे हैं सभी प्रीमिक्स ही बेच रहे हैं, ₹10 वाली रेडी चाय नहीं आएगी क्या?"

उसका जवाब सुनकर मेरा सर घूम गया!

बोला—"IRCTC ने बंद कर दी, अब यही बिकती है।"

मैंने वहीं उसका झूठ पकड़ा और

पैंतरा बदलते हुए कहा—"मैं खुद IRCTC से जुड़ा हूँ, तुम्हारे मैनेजर को बुलाओ।"

यह सुनते ही वह घबरा गया

और बहानों की झड़ी लगा दी—"दूध नहीं है... चूल्हा खाली नहीं है... चूल्हा खराब है।"

मैंने कड़े लहजे में कहा—"तुम्हारा दिमाग खराब है! एलएचबी (LHB) पैंट्री में अब खाना बनाने का सिस्टम ही नहीं होता, सिर्फ वाटर बॉयलर होता है, तो चूल्हा कहाँ से खराब हो गया? पहले ₹10 वाली चाय लाओ और मैनेजर को भेजो, नहीं तो अभी शिकायत मेल करता हूँ।"

वह चला गया। मेरे सामने बैठे एक परिवार ने बताया कि वे 6 लोग हैं और सुबह से सिर्फ दो बार चाय पीने में उनके ₹200 खर्च हो गए! सोचिए, आम जनता की जेब पर डाका डाला जा रहा है।

थोड़ी देर में वही वेंडर आया और बोला—"लीजिए ₹10 वाली चाय।" उसने तुरंत एक 'एव्रीडे' का दूध पाउच फाड़ा, गर्म पानी में मिलाया, टी-बैग डाला और दे दिया। यानी दूध भी था और सामान भी, बस छिपाकर रखा था! मैंने पूछा—"मैनेजर कहाँ है?" तो बोला—"अभी सोकर नहीं उठे हैं।"

मैंने उसे साफ कहा—"तुम्हारा मैनेजर सोया है और तुम पैसेंजर्स को सुबह 5 बजे से चिल्लाकर जगा रहे हो? जबकि IRCTC का सख्त नियम है कि रात 11 से सुबह 6 बजे तक कोई वेंडर कोच में चिल्लाकर सामान नहीं बेचेगा।" वह चुपचाप खिसक गया।

करीब सवा छह बजे पैंट्री कार के मैनेजर साहब खुद आए। चेहरे पर हवाईयाँ उड़ रही थीं।

बनावटी मुस्कान के साथ बोले—"सर नमस्कार, मैं पैंट्री मैनेजर हूँ। वेंडर छोटा लड़का है, गलती हो गई।"

मैंने उन्हें सीधे शब्दों में आइना दिखाया—"गलती वेंडर की नहीं, तुम्हारी है। तुम लोग मिलकर पूरे सिस्टम को दीमक की तरह चाट रहे हो। एक तो सुबह 5 बजे चिल्लाकर नियम तोड़ रहे हो,

ऊपर से ₹10 वाली चाय छुपाकर ₹20 का प्रीमिक्स जबरन बेच रहे हो (Forced Selling)। स्टॉक कम होने का बहाना मत बनाना, क्योंकि मेरे टोकते ही तुरंत पाउच और टी-बैग बाहर आ गए।"

मैनेजर पूरी तरह सकपका गया और हाथ जोड़कर बोला—"सर प्लीज शिकायत मत कीजिए, आइंदा से पूरी ट्रेन में सबको ₹10 वाली चाय ही मिलेगी और टाइमिंग का पूरा ध्यान रखेंगे।"

मैंने कहा—"शिकायत तो मैं फिर भी करूंगा ताकि तुम लोगों को सबक मिले, लेकिन फिलहाल इस पूरे कोच में जो भी चाय मांगेगा, उसे ₹10 वाली ऑफिशियल चाय ही दोगे।

अगर दोबारा कोई ₹20 प्रीमिक्स चिल्लाता मिला, तो सीधा RailMadad' ऐप पर तुम्हारी पैंट्री का लाइसेंस सस्पेंड करने की कंप्लेंट डालूंगा।"

मैनेजर 'जी सर, बिल्कुल सर' करता हुआ वेंडर को लेकर दबे पाँव भाग खड़ा हुआ।

साथियों, यह लड़ाई सिर्फ ₹10 की नहीं है, यह हमारे हक की है। जब भी ट्रेन में सफर करें, सजग रहें:

1. सुबह 6 बजे से पहले और रात 11 बजे के बाद वेंडर कोच में चिल्लाकर सामान नहीं बेच सकते।

2. ₹10 वाली साधारण चाय मांगना आपका हक है।

3. कोई वेंडर मनमानी करे तो बिल मांगिए। नियम है—"No Bill, No Earnings"।

4. वेंडर न माने तो तुरंत RailMadad' ऐप या टोल-फ्री नंबर 139 पर शिकायत दर्ज करें।

एक बात और ध्यान रखें कि आईआरसीटीसी के खाने की थाली की रेट 80 रुपये ही है अगली बार जब आप ट्रेन में खाना खरीदे तो 80 वाली थाली की ही मांग करें अगर नहीं देवें तो तुरन्त शिकायत करें. हाथ जोड़कर 80 वाली थाली देकर जाएगा

जब तक हम जागरूक नहीं होंगे, ये पैंट्री वाले ऐसे ही आम यात्रियों को लूटते रहेंगे। इस पोस्ट को ज्यादा से ज्यादा शेयर करें ताकि हर रेल यात्री अपने अधिकारों को जान सके!

Delhi's E20 petrol (80% petrol + 20% ethanol) is selling at ₹102.12 per litre right now.

But the math will make your blood boil:

- Base Price (crude + refining + OMC margin): ~₹76–79
- Dealer Commission: ~₹4–4.5
- Central Excise Duty: ~₹11.9
- Delhi VAT (19.4%): ~₹17–19

Taxes alone: Over ₹30 per litre 🥺

And this is post income tax which we pay.

Ethanol blending was supposed to make fuel cheaper, save forex, and help farmers... yet we're still shelling out ₹102 while the base cost is much lower.

And this is in Delhi. In other States, the numbers are far higher.

Where is the promised savings? Infact, I am reading that Ethanol procurement is costly.

E85 (85% ethanol) is available at just ₹82 in Delhi. But no one is using it. Does it even matter?

But what about the regular E20?

Full price, full tax. Zero benefits for users since mileage is far lower. We have seen it over last few years.

I request the Government to Remove Excise Duty, VAT for E20 to compensate for Mileage Drop & Engine Non Compatibility (for 8 out of 10 vehicles running on Indian Roads Today).

We are NOT AGAINST ETHANOL BLENDING. WE JUST NEED THE BENEFITS TO BE PASSED ON TO US IN FORM OF COST.

Sir water doesn't come on time but the water bill comes on time. Many areas water comes once in 8 to 10 days, that's only 4 times a month but citizens have to pay full month bill.

सब कुछ तैयार था। पैसेंजर डिटेल्स भरी हुई थीं, पेमेंट मेथड सिलेक्ट था, इंटरनेट भी बिल्कुल ठीक चल रहा था।

घड़ी ने बुकिंग टाइम दिखाया... और कुछ ही पलों में वेबसाइट लड़खड़ाने लगी।

पेज ठीक से लोड नहीं हो रहे थे, एरर आने लगे, और मैं प्रोसेस पूरा करने से पहले ही ज्यादातर उपलब्ध सीटें रहस्यमयी तरीके से गायब हो गईं।
बस एक मिनट पहले विकल्प उपलब्ध थे।

एक मिनट बाद, सब खत्म।
बची हुई टिकटें? सिर्फ Premium Tatkal।
और यहीं असली झटका लगा।

एक ऐसी यात्रा, जिसकी सामान्य किराया लगभग ₹1,100 होता है, वो अचानक ₹2,383 हो गई।

वही ट्रेन। वही सीट कैटेगरी। वही डेस्टिनेशन।
बदला सिर्फ़ एक चीज़ — कीमत।

एक यात्री के रूप में यह एक असहज सवाल उठाता है:

अगर टटकल के समय हजारों लोग वेबसाइट स्लोडाउन और बुकिंग फेलियर का सामना करते हैं, और एकमात्र विकल्प बहुत ज़्यादा महंगा टिकट रह जाता है, तो इस सिस्टम से असल में फायदा किसे हो रहा है?

टटकल की शुरुआत यात्रियों की urgent जरूरतों को ध्यान में रखकर की गई थी।
लेकिन आजकल ऐसा लगता है कि बहुत से यात्री टिकट बुक करने से ज्यादा समय बुकिंग सिस्टम से लड़ने में बिता रहे हैं।

लोग यात्रा के लिए उचित किराया देने को तैयार हैं।
जो उन्हें परेशान करता है, वो ये है कि उन्हें मजबूरन दोगुना पैसा देने के लिए कोने में धकेल दिया जाता है, क्योंकि नॉर्मल विकल्प लगभग तुरंत गायब हो जाता है।

For months, @AshwiniVaishnaw, @Tejasvi_Surya Ji, and many other political leaders hyped a new "SUPERFAST TRAIN" between Mumbai and Bengaluru. The public was overjoyed with this announcement, as the Mumbai–Bengaluru sector was finally going to get its 2nd dedicated train after 30 years, and that too a fast one. But what did people actually get?

A "SUPERSLOW TRAIN" taking 24 hours to cover the 1,208 km distance between Mumbai and Bengaluru via Hubballi, with an average speed of just 50 km/h. Even by Indian Railways' own definition, trains with an average speed above 55 km/h should fall under the superfast category. What's even worse is that it is not even a daily train, it runs only twice a week :)

Yesterday, the new train was flagged off with huge celebrations, as if it was some great achievement, that too in 2026. Imagine spending crores on doubling, electrification, and track upgrades, only to introduce a SUPERSLOW train like this.

I had much better expectations. We all had much better expectations. But you (the government) failed us "SUPER-DISAPPOINTED!"
