National school sports week continued with another whole school form time fitness session today #DanceMoves. Many lessons taken up with our “road to Russia” runs. Please make sure students have water bottles and trainers all week.

And there’s more! Loads of different alternative sports in PE lessons from lacrosse to golf. Of course all our usual extra curricular clubs will still be running with rounders, football, badminton, table tennis and netball. #DoMoreThanJustWatch

We are also running from Huddersfield to Moscow in our Road to Russia challenge where we are totally all the mileage from students in PE lessons to achieve the distance to Moscow.

Every day next week ALL students in new Years 8-10 will be doing an outdoor Joe Wicks style HITT session every form time. Monday after school is a 5k run for staff and students. Wednesday is a fitness session with a Rugby league conditioning coach.

CVHS PE are back on twitter after several weeks lay off and what great timing since next week is National School Sports Week and we’ve got plenty going on.

AND great new opportunities with fitness at the gym at Northern Fitness on Mondays and wednesdays. Y10 kickboxing fridays in the top gym, and y9&10 weights club also on Fridays.
