@Lauren_Alaina congrats on playing UGA tonight. You kicked ass. I was really impressed. You’re highly underrated and I wish nothing but the best for you.
@PaulaYScanlan You’d think the NHL and NBA could maybe coordinate their schedules and NOT have teams from the same city playing playoff games on the same night. But that takes too much common sense.
@FriedgeHNIC Go back to 1 vs 8 and get rid of the loser point and just go on straight win % like the other leagues do. Can still use RW as a standings tie breaker. Pittsburgh, Vegas, and LA with all the OT losses is crazy.
@PaulaYScanlan Right? Although honestly I wish Russia was there. I know it’s controversial but if you want best on best it really sucks not having them. And Ovi missing one last shot at an Olympics.
@PaulaYScanlan lol. I can’t get into it. But this #usa vs #canada women’s hockey game is awesome right now. Save some for the gold medal game though lol
@annmarie Not good AMH. As much as Diaz going to the Dodgers sucks I can at least see it as best chance to win. But losing out to the Orioles? That’s tough.
@PaulaYScanlan I don’t like him either but he’s the only one with a chance to beat Mamdani one on one and I think that’s the most important thing at this point. I just work in NYC though and live on LI so I don’t even get a vote in this.
@ArynneWexler Honestly a situation like this is an example of where ranked choice voting would work well. Not that it’s an option here but it might’ve solved this…
@RachelKryshak I feel for the (minority?) of M’s fans in Vancouver; they’re going to take a beating today. As a New Yorker and Mets fan who hates the Yankees and whose wife is from Ontario, happy for the Jays!
@meredithheron@jordancicchelli Rooting against the Jays to spite TO is stupid I agree, but out of curiosity what would make someone in VAN more inclined to be a Jays fan than Mariners. Seattle is way closer and in same time zone (easier to go to games, watch in evening etc). I know the same country thing…
