Over the past month Ph.D. student Clay Vondriska has been working with Dr. Rudi Strickler of the @UWM on the use of a newly developed marine olfactometer. Clay will be using this marine olfactometer as part of his dissertation investigating the sensory ecology of gnathiids!

Early morning science 🔬. PhD student Clay Vondriska (@cvondriska) sometimes needs to wake up before the sun comes up to start looking for fed gnathiids. Clay will be rearing these gnathiids to adulthood and using them to investigate the sensory cues they use to find mates.

Here's to 25 years of collecting, battling, and trading. Gotta catch 'em all, after all!
