Its been a tough year, I struggled hard in the fall and my confidence was low,I took the time in high school ball to get to work and gain it back and focused to get back to myself. I was excited to start with my new team in the summer only to end HS with an injury that set me back for most of the summer. Coach Rob, Coach Jacob, Coach Chad & Coach Caitlin still welcomed me &they were patient to help navigate my way back on the field. Im a big believer in everything happens for a reason! Thankful for this summer and the season I had with Illusions plocheck! Truly one i’ll never forget!

I am incredibly impressed with how NiJaree Canady handled the post game interview.

She OWNED the 3-0 pitchout being too close to the plate… & when people tried to say it was her first intentional walk all year - she said that was not an excuse…

She’s battling thru injuries & said it wasn’t an excuses either…

She did not “blame” anyone.

She owned that pitch & apologized.. shit happens.

That’s leadership. That’s accountability.
