I don’t know if it was intentionally written into the character or if it just accidentally happened this way, but I didn’t see Kate smile like she did when she was with Lucy with anyone else in any episode the entire 3 seasons. #kacy#ncishawaii#savencishawaii
Lucy, Kate, and Tennant all looked so good this episode; it's a shame the three of them didn't all have a scene together (and no Kacy scene ☹️). #ChangingTides#SaveNCISHawaii
I can go days without talking to people, and it’s never personal. I just be chilling. I can wake up every day, not exchange a word with anyone, and be completely fine. I really live in my own world.
I used to think I was introverted because I like being alone, but it turns out I really like being at peace with myself and my surroundings, and I'm extremely extroverted with people who bring me comfort and happiness.
When an introvert says “I’m doing nothing," they mean it literally. They really are doing nothing. And no, it doesn’t mean they’re free. Nothing is something they do. It’s their favorite activity. Their reset button. Their peace. They can do it all day long. It’s what refuels them. It’s how they survive the world. Alone and doing nothing. But you won’t get it.
I'm naturally a distant person. No, you didn't do anything to me, no, I'm not mad at you, and no, you're not cut off. I just don't feel the need to talk to people.
Introverts drain too damn fast. That’s why they don’t connect with everyone. They want to. But they need time. To observe. To assess. To trust. Temporary is just not their thing. They're not shy or selfish, they’re just careful. They just want someone who's real. Someone who doesn’t drain them. Someone they can trust enough to stay. That’s all.
my therapist said “people who struggle with anxiety & depression can't remember a lot, bc they're too busy focusing on how to get through each moment so they don t actually experience what is happening to them, causing them to not form the memory they were supposed to” felt that.
i think my 🚩 is that, I never know how to talk about my feelings. I talk to myself in my head a lot about how I feel & I explain it so well, but getting it to actually come out my mouth is so hard.
