A landmark step towards smarter, safer, and more efficient foodgrain storage!

Central Warehousing Corporation (CWC) inaugurated its AI & IoT-Enabled Smart Warehousing System at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, in the esteemed presence of Hon’ble Union Minister for Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution, Shri Pralhad Joshi; Hon’ble Minister of State, Smt. Nimuben Jayantibhai Bambhaniya; Secretary, Department of Food & Public Distribution, Shri Sanjeev Chopra; Additional Secretary, DFPD, Smt. Anita Karn; Secretary, Department of Public Enterprises, Shri K. Moses Chalai; Chairman & Managing Director, Food Corporation of India, Shri Ravindra Kumar Agrawal; and Managing Director, CWC, Shri Santosh Sinha.

The Smart Warehousing System implemented across 215 CWC warehouses nationwide, leverages Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Internet of Things (IoT) technologies to reduce grain losses, enhance operational efficiency, strengthen food security, and enable data-driven warehouse management.

The event also felicitated the Best Performing Warehouses of CWC and FCI under the Depot Darpan Portal Assessment, recognizing excellence in scientific storage and operational performance along with the launch of Smart Warehousing Manual for CWC.

Driving digital transformation in warehousing and logistics, CWC continues to support the vision of Viksit Bharat through innovation, technology, and operational excellence.

इस अवसर पर:

रविदासपुरा आंगनवाड़ी में स्वस्थ व्यंजनों का प्रदर्शन सीडब्ल्यूसी करनाल-1 द्वारा किया गया।
अंबेडकर बस्ती में भी स्वस्थ व्यंजनों का प्रदर्शन सीडब्ल्यूसी ���िसार द्वारा किया गया।

इसके अतिरिक्त, कार्यक्रम के दौरान माता एवं बच्चों को खाद्य एवं पोषण किट का वितरण भी किया गया।

इस गतिविधि का उद्देश्य लोगों को पौष्टिक आहार, संतुलित भोजन और स्वस्थ जीवनशैली के प्रति जागरूक करना था।

केंद्रीय भंडारण निगम, क्षेत्रीय कार्यालय, पंचकुला द्वारा पूरे उत्साह एवं जोश के साथ 8वें पोषण पखवाड़े (09–23 अप्रैल) का सफल आयोजन किया गया।
इस अवसर पर कर्मचारियों में स्वास्थ्य के प्रति जागरूकता बढ़ाने हेतु एक पाक कला प्रतियोगिता (Cooking Competition) का आयोजन किया गया, जिसमें विभिन्न पौष्टिक एवं आकर्षक व्यंजनों का प्रदर्शन किया गया।
कार्यक्रम का उद्देश्य संतुलित आहार, स्वस्थ जीवनशैली एवं पोषण के महत्व को बढ़ावा देना था।
