If you are trying to make money in AI, you are looking in the wrong place.

The money is not to be made by creating something crazy like ChatGPT or Sora.

Sure people will make a killing from it, but it’s really hard to make technology like that and it is expensive.

For every ChatGPT you have thousands of failures and billions lost.

Just look at Jasper, it was a billion-dollar AI company that helps you produce blog posts. But then Gemini and ChatGPT crushed it.

And how many companies is Sora going to crush now?

Where the real money is, at least for most people, is prompt engineering.

Tools like Sora are amazing. You can literally create a video by just inputting text. That’s prompt engineering.

But if the prompt you feed these tools suck, then your output will suck.

And even if you think your prompt is amazing, you still may get an output that sucks.

So, if you want to make money from AI, you are better off spending your time becoming amazing at prompt engineering.

According to Forbes, Prompt Engineers can make $300,000 a year.

Now that’s a lot of money.
