USA’s Nic Fink won a share of the Silver Medal in the Men's 100m Breaststroke.
Fink is a world class swimmer with a Masters in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Georgia Tech and a 9-5 job working for Quanta Utility Engineering Services.
He gets medals on his day off.
Former Georgia Bulldog/full-time engineer Nic Fink just won Silver in the men’s 100m Breaststroke in Paris
At 31, Fink is the oldest first-time American medalist since 1904. In a few weeks he’ll become a first-time Dad. What a story. Good on him.
To all of our amazing @UGASwimDive Dawgs who participated in last week's Olympic trials - thank you for representing the @UniversityofGA on the national stage!
Go Dawgs!
If you STILL don’t think the sport of swimming has a hell of a lot of momentum right now, you’re out of your mind.
Appreciate you coming out, @PatMcAfeeShow 🤝

To be able to have the Olympic Trials at Lucas Oil Stadium is amazing" ~ @MichaelPhelps#PMSLive
Nic Fink, a 30 year old with a full-time job, wins the 100 breast and is a two-time Olympian. And Charlie Swanson gets second — good for him. He’s been a grinder in the sport for a long time.
