In #EDLT5310 I have expanded my TPACK to confidently display my technical and pedagogical knowledge. I have grown significantly in my confidence in applying my knowledge to create engaging webinars and beyond.
@desertjul
@BereZinnias@desertjul Coming in with the Canva. Gotta love it!... But did you hear about the girl who had the Snapchat bot write a song, and then the bot denied writing the song and said that wasn't possible because of it's coding.... scary stuff.
This is a shoutout to my #EDLT5310 classmates @NmsuJules, @jonwinans, @ms_ahall for reminding me that webinars need to be relevant and with as little distraction as possible. It's important to think about the atmosphere you are creating just as much as the content.
@desertjul
This week I continued to explore webinars and VR, and began really diving into thinking about my TPACK framework in my job. This is a work in progress, as am I. #lifelonglearning#EDLT5310@desertjul
I would like to shout out to @mickeylover74, @ms_ahall, and @jonwinans who all reminded me how important interaction is in a webinar. If you truly want an unforgettable webinar, you must engage your audience. Period.

My big AHA moment in Adventure 1 of #EDLT5310 is that I have a lot of preconceived notions about VR that I may have to "check at the door" in order to truly learn this semester. But I am grateful that @desertjulย is there to help me do so.
I am back again taking a course in EDLT from NMSU. This semester, it's #EDLT5310, in which I will be simultaneously learning about how to create effective webinars/web conferences, and VR and its implications in Education.
This is my last AHA moment for #EDLT561. I set out to answer how I could best implement social media into 6-12 informal STEM education while keeping students accountable to netiquette... the answer, Digital Citizenship!
Now that is of course an extreme simplification, but understanding that Digital Citizenship 1) exists 2) is fairly simple to teach, has opened up a whole world of possibilities for implementing social media into my programs.
