It’s a pretty simple solution: don’t force players to wear Pride-themed uniforms.
People have different beliefs, whether religious, political, or personal. Respect works both ways. Let players compete, let teams host their events, and don’t require anyone to endorse a message they don’t personally agree with.
Be gay. Be happy. Celebrate Pride Month.
But when Americans get it forced down their throats at every level, the pushback is inevitable.
This has nothing to do with being anti-LGBTQ.
So stop spinning it as hate against a particular group. It's national fatigue.
@RealMamaEagle@EaglesPhamRN Besides AJ you won’t hear specific names (similar to the Wentz situation) until after Hurts is gone. You don’t want to accept the AJ stuff so I can’t help you. You have your stream, go find out for yourself if you have that much pull…
@EaglesPhamRN@RealMamaEagle First I don’t use the term bro because I’m an only child and only men could be called bros. Second, I don’t resort to name calling to belittle people (especially false ones). I could say other things about you but I’m classier.
@NBCNews The fact that the team actually forfeited the game is honestly laughable. They’d rather be activists than a baseball organization, which is sad in today’s times. Good for the players who took a stand
@Kendiel_Dizzle@DaKidGowie I mean regular season TV ratings are continuing to go down, tanking is at an all time high and load management is out of control. The only reason playoff ratings went up was because of NY being in the Finals. The casual fan is losing out
@Kendiel_Dizzle@DaKidGowie The point is that the league is better and more popular when there are dynasties. It’s less fun when you have 8 different teams win in 8 years.
