@Bobbybrine_@MyTExactly@ragebaiterprof@ttfalor Not really a choice. Lotta homeless people failed by the foster care system or severely abused in their childhoods. Maybe their choices lead them to being homeless, but being homeless isn’t a choice most of them make of sound mind.
@NorthFaceSeeks@ttfalor Usually they’ve got some issue like a drug dependency that makes it harder to do things like get a job. You would never become homeless because you don’t have the issues they do; it’s easy to say “I would do x” but it would be a different “you” in those circumstances.
@WantGreatness@nookya1@OOCMileyCyrus What Jay Z song the writer had in mind isn’t important, just that it was a Jay Z song. You think Miley should’ve called up the writer and said “I Need To Know What Jay Z Song It Was”
@nookya1@OOCMileyCyrus Do you know how common it is for pop artists to write their own songs? How about teen pop stars? How many songs do you think Frank Sinatra wrote?
I was perfectly round as a child. The neighborhood kids would roll me down the hill and laugh as I came to a stop in the backyard of the prospective neighborhood diddler. I was never diddled by him. I was too spherical and slippery from the morning dew. I always got away
@Paulrob20@Indikur Trial and error. People have been trying these surgeries for thousands of years. Lots of people sliced to death or improperly anesthetized or permanently disfigured.
@ZackDroidCoder I’m not defending the issue, I’m defending the use of the technology in the one way it’s extremely beneficial to everyone. I promise you the AI snowball will keep rolling down the hill even if the hobbyist developers stop using it entirely. Do you really think this is reversible?
@ZackDroidCoder Reductio ad absurdum isn’t a fallacy, I’m pointing out the absurdity of your position
It’s like you think this is a trolley problem where every individual is free to divert the trolley, when the truth is you’d need a revolution to change the course. Blaming individuals is weak.
@ZackDroidCoder And what if AI were able to cut that 6 months down to 3 months without compromising the quality of the project? Still gonna scream witchcraft and pearl clutch?
@BugoTheCat@mageblade_@WW92030 Because art is an expression of the human condition as old as we are, something computers/AI models lack entirely. Programming is a ~50 year old profession that is (simply) about problem solving. People make art TO make art; people don’t really program TO program.
