Busywork is the bane of urgency in a classroom.

If you assign busywork in any way: stop.

All work must support learning. If it doesn't, do not ask any human being to do it.

Some kids will not eat.

And, some things are not about me.

I had to learn to accept this.

One’s ego in such things leads to despair. So, I let go my ego.

And I head back to the kitchen.
