I live in the highlands and I’m happy here, but the sea is my true happy place. Since I was young I always went to the sea when I was lost or troubled and it always helped me.

Ozzy, my rescue crow coming over for his dinner but still a little timid. He seems to be loving life just now and today looks like he has met a girlfriend. He put on quite a show for her.

Now I’m home from hospital but still not well. Awaiting tests. No energy to paint. Just managing to look after a crow I rescued a month ago. He was hit by a car and in a bad way but he had a spark in his eye. This week he had a bath by himself.

I do love lighthouses and what they represent. Tall and sturdy, their flashing beacon gives you hope and guides you to safety when you are in a place of danger. Everyone needs a good lighthouse in their life.
