@stecker_will @ThunderFocus It's only next year's lowest first round pick, and 2 second round picks. Depending on the protections, could be a top 10-20 pick in 29, which is worth the 2 seconds. Also, that's why you get so many picks on the first place, so you can have flexibility. Sam is using that well

@ThunderFocus You said it though. Every year, "rumors" and "sources" say one thing, then every draft night, Woj or Shams tweets out the picks early until it's the Thunder pick, and we wait until Presti surprises us with someone. I'd be very surprised if now is any different

I think 10 years ago the game would have changed quite differently than today. Nowadays teams are so analytics focused, some might abandon the corner

@JonesOnTheNBA I agree. I wonder how it would evolve the game. With the way teams want to shoot 3s, it would make it much more difficult to take them. I think the shot quality overall would drop for a little while until teams adjusted, w/o the cheat code that is the corner 3. Could work though
