Man or woman, it is actually very good to make people feel heard, important, and understood.

There’s a man who has been helping me put my shop in order. Every time we went out to buy materials and interior items, I gave him the opportunity to make choices for me.

Most of his choices aligned with mine, and for the few that didn’t, I didn’t outrightly say I disliked them. Instead, I explained why I felt my choice would be better, giving reasons such as color coordination and overall aesthetics.

Today, he told me that he enjoys working with me and that, contrary to how I may appear, I’m a tender person.

Anyways, just a reminder.

While I get his point, he shouldn’t say it’ll be sustainable for a period of time. People evolve and I’m all for doing what will put food on your table as long as it’ll not harm the other person.

I’d rather have 100 Pellers than have one fool whose job is to snatch ballot boxes, follow corrupt politicians and shout “capacity!” from morning till night, or stand in the middle of the road to collect ₦200 from commercial vehicles just to feed. Those are the ones that are ruining our society and causing damage. Those are the ones he should address and leave Peller and his “olodos” alone.

If anything, Peller is proving a point that we should pay close attention to, study it, and make it better. Olodo uprising is not the cause of poor academic excellence. If anything, it is proving to be an escape from a failed government system.

Because of “olodo uprising”, Peller is not snatching ballot boxes, he is not kidnapping anybody, he is not creating havoc in the society, he is not begging you for crumbs, he is not in your business in any negative way. He has taken himself from a nobody to a somebody, against all the odds stacked up including a poor educational system.

My experience is the opposite. TikTok people are always in the hurry to receive their orders sharp sharp, today today, now now, and I don’t blame them cos my products are things you take when you want to eat or refresh, having a sweet tooth or just want to bulk buy at once.

Because of them my next big project is to buy a bike for fast and cheaper deliveries. God dey. Na small small.
