Next, we are going to write a set of instructions to explain what you need for our trick, and how you can use it to catch pheasants. 🐦 #DannyChampionOfTheWorld
This week we have created our own pheasant catching tricks, inspired by Roald Dahl’s ‘Danny Champion of the World’. We worked in groups to analyse the tricks in the book and used this to make our own to present to the class. @cwprimary
We were very lucky to be able to listen to Welsh Paralympic champion @lizjohnson_gb , as she shared her inspirational story. We were encouraged by her determination and perseverance and will use this to help us to achieve our dreams and ambitions. 🥇🥈🥉 @cwprimary

We created our own interpretations of the Queen’s diamond jubilee portrait from 2012. We chose to use the techniques we have practised in class, focusing on using different shading elements to add depth and detail. Come and have a look at our artwork on the school railings! 👑
This week we used J2e to create a database of ‘Champions’. We picked from a selection of Olympians, footballers, scientists and artists. We researched key information about each champion and compiled a database. @cwprimary 🏆🥇🏅
Today we practised our badminton skills with @BadmintonWales. We had a go at games to improve our hand-eye coordination and challenged ourselves to keep the shuttle in the air for as long as possible. #HealthyConfidentIndividuals@cwprimary

We’ve started this week exploring the ‘Mayhem’ of the stock market. We’ve bought our own stock in a variety of companies and will look to see if we have made a profit in tomorrow’s lesson. 📈📉
We completed the last task for our ‘Explore’ work by comparing Kensuke’s home country of Japan to Wales. Looking at the differences and similarities of our two cultures. 🇯🇵 🏴
Today we took part in a memory walk around our school. We reflcted on our Charles Williams experience so far, thinking about the countless memories and amazing friendships we’ve made along the way. Hopefully with many more to come. @cwprimary#ChildrensMentalHealthWeek
