We hosted middle school students from BaySTEM & it was a blast! Students learned about the use of manikins in med ed, simulated a cholecystectomy, completed donning & doffing, & practiced intubating on task trainers. Thank you BaySTEM for visiting us!!

Medical Students participated in Donning/Doffing & Sim Orientation. Students were able to learn proper techniques of hand washing, PPE & a tour of our exam rooms. We ended with a fun scavenger hunt & all received a cute medical rubber duck!! Welcome to CWRU School of Medicine!

Cory and Jess, were leaving work, when they noticed a ruby-throated hummingbird laying on the pavement in the hot sun. They picked it up & gave it some much needed water! We are hoping that since it is no longer there, that it was able to fly off & get some much needed nectar!
